ICPHMS2026 and ICPBS2026 Were Successfully Held in Qingdao, China During August 16-18, 2026

According to the similarity of the topics, the 11th International Conference on Public Health and Medical Sciences (ICPHMS2026) and the 9th International Conference on Psychology and Behavioural Sciences (ICPBS2026) were jointly held at the Qingdao Guokang Haiqing Hotel in Qingdao, China, from August 16 to 18, 2026. Experts and scholars from various universities and research institutions worldwide gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge issues in public health, mental health, cognitive neuroscience, and clinical psychology.

The conference featured keynote speeches delivered by Dr. Kangguang Lin, Dr. Qi Wang, Dr. Kai Kong Lee, and Dr. Dan Sha.

Dr. Kangguang Lin (Professor, School of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, China) addressed the early biological pathways to cognitive impairment in familial risk for bipolar disorder. His research revealed the mediating roles of neuroinflammatory cytokine IL-6 and forceps major white matter microstructural abnormalities in cognitive impairment, providing important biomarkers for early identification and preventive intervention in bipolar disorder.

Dr. Qi Wang (Professor, College of Pharmacy, Harbin Medical University, China) focused on the pathogenesis of diabetic cognitive impairment. He discovered that the short-chain fatty acid 2-HIBA can target mitochondrial protein MT-ND3 to restore mitochondrial respiratory chain homeostasis, thereby significantly ameliorating cognitive function in db/db mice, offering a novel therapeutic strategy for diabetic cognitive impairment.

Dr. Kai Kong Lee (Senior Lecturer, Department of Psychology, University of Sunderland, UK) focused on precision ASD intervention, proposing an integrated framework combining biochemical rescue, biometric profiling, and AI-supported behavioural support. He emphasized the importance of early developmental windows, family implementation, personalized cognitive-behavioural strategies, and data-informed monitoring to improve core symptoms in children with ASD.

Dr. Dan Sha (Chief Physician, Cancer Center, Shandong Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Shandong First Medical University, China) presented a prospective comparison of patient-derived organoid drug screening with standard guideline recommendations for colorectal cancer liver metastasis. Her study confirmed the clinical feasibility and utility of PDTO-based drug sensitivity testing in predicting clinical response to combination regimens, guiding precision therapy.

Following the keynote sessions, multiple scholars delivered concise oral presentations focusing on diverse topics, including psychiatric disorder mechanisms, chronic disease management, AI-assisted diagnosis and treatment, child mental health, and public health policy. Concurrently, the conference featured a poster presentation session, where scholars gathered around the posters, engaging in enthusiastic exchanges and in-depth discussions on research content of mutual interest.
